About me

I graduated in 2011 from the University of Missouri with an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and currently work at Lexmark International as a Firmware Engineer.

I also earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics in May 2009, graduating with honors from the University of Missouri.

I am originally from Manchester, England, but have made Lexington, KY my home since 2011, and am now a proud citizen of the USA. I have a passionate interest in learning how things work and spend much of my free time programming and following current trends in technology. I am an avid reader, a husband, and Roman history buff.

Research

My past research areas are machine learning, image and signal processing, computational intelligence and algorithm development.

I also completed undergraduate research on swarm intelligence based optimization and explosive hazards detection.

A detailed list of the papers I have authored or coauthored can be found on the left.

I presented a paper on explosive hazard detection using forward looking radar at the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE) conference in April 2010 in Orlando, FL. I also presented a paper on background modeling to detect explosive hazards at the conference in April 2011.
